I was testing an Authorize.net recurring billing application that I was building yesterday and kept getting a “Bad Request (27) – Invalid Card Holder” error. I searched the internet to find out what the cardholder name should be on an Authorize.net test account and couldn’t find anything. I just started trying some things and found that ‘John Doe’ works well. It’s probably buried somewhere in a manual or pdf or some documentation, but for those of you who are lazy like I am, hopefully, this will help you out.
