Fishing Square was a client’s dream for a website to bring together people who enjoy fishing either as an amateur or a professional. It would be much like their other site for men and women who enjoy hunting – Hunting Square.
The client provided me with a psd file for a coming soon page. Using photoshop, we sliced the image and put it in HTML/CSS to create a coming soon page. We added a sign up form so that we could collect email addresses for the client so they could notify interested fishermen and women when the site was complete.
The client later decided to expand in different directions and never completed the site because interest wasn’t as high as expected, but they still had a nice list of men and women who are interested in fishing to use for their other entrepreneurial ventures.
