Occasionally I get asked, “God forbid something happens to you, what happens to my website?” I’m glad you asked.
I have a contingency plan in place should something happen to me. Our team has expanded to seven regular contractors and a handful of temporary contractors on any given day. Should something happen to me, they know exactly what to do.
Mallory, my daughter and Executive Assistant, Jen, our operations manager, and Matthew, my son and one of our web developers, all have access to a list of all our current clients and would notify them as soon as possible.
Andrew takes care of our hardware and software and has a contingency plan in place should something happen to him. Should something happen to me, Andrew and the rest of my team would keep your site up and running.
They are all trained to continue running the hosting operations in my absence. Should you decide to move your site to another hosting company, they would assist you in that move.
